Trek Fat Bikes
What is a Fat Bike? A fat bike has super wide (3.5"-5") tires mounted to a wide (60mm-100mm) rim. They're kind of funny looking, so you'll recognize one when you see it. Throw speed out the window because these bikes are designed to crawl over unstable terrain that would be unrideable on any other bike. In Utah, fat bikes are most commonly used on snow. Now you can ride year-round! Stay fit in the off-season and avoid the winter blues. Try one out on the groomed trails of North Fork Park, or follow the snowshoe paths along the East Bench or around Snow Basin. Fat bikes are good for more than just snow and have become a popular option for adventure riders and bike packers who need to be prepared for anything Mother Nature throws their way. The most popular fat bike we sell is the Trek Farley. It's a fun and impressively versatile 'go anywhere anytime' fat bike.
