Consider the Bar Officially Raised
Pivot's renowned Mach 6 Carbon is longer, lower, and sets a new benchmark for enduro and aggressive trail bikes. The Mach 6's peerless pedaling efficiency and downhill handling make it the perfect choice for dropping into black-diamond terrain and hitting technical features at race pace. From peak to podium, the Mach 6 Carbon is enduro performance, redefined.
Longer, Lower...For Every Size of Rider
The Mach 6 features truly progressive geometry—a slacker head angle and long cockpit for stability and poise on the steepest descents, a steeper seat angle to help you scale the worst climbs, and shorter chainstays for snappy handling on the tightest trails. On a lot of bikes "long and low" essentially means "This isn't going to fit you smaller riders". But that's not the case here.
Though we went long and low on the new Mach 6, smaller riders still fit the bike easily. That's because our Medium, Large, and X-Large see significant increases in top tube length, while our Small and X-Small models remain compact, in keeping with our rider-size-specific design philosophy. What's more, smaller riders still reap the climbing advantages of the steeper seat angle and the capable descending traits that come courtesy of the slacker head angle.
Suspension Perfected
We spec'd the Mach 6 with a Fox Factory Kashima Float DPX2 shock, tuned specifically for enduro and trail applications. The Float DPX2 features X2 oil-flow architecture in a lighter, better-pedaling package. The DPX2 also offers an incredibly wide range of tuning options to suit a wide range of rider weights and preferences; those include three on-the-fly lever adjustments—Open, Medium, and Firm options, with an additional adjustment for tuning low-speed compression on the open setting.
The EVOL air sleeve on the Mach 6's DPX2 significantly reduces the force required to initiate travel, for the ultimate in small bump compliance and better bottom-out resistance. When combined with the ultra-low friction Kashima coating, this design offers an incredibly plush feel with a wide range of damping adjustments.
