The snow machine. The Farley is our go-to rig from December to March. We're lucky to have an adventurous community that doesn't stop exploring in the winter. One of the most appealing tourist attractions in the Ogden area is our easy access to the beautiful mountains. We're within a 45 minute drive of three reputable ski resorts: Snow Basin, Wolf Mountain, and Powder Mountain...and they're all covered with miles of brilliant single-track.
Outside of ski resorts, we have hundreds of additional miles of beautiful trails roaming along the East Bench and climbing to multiple peaks like Lewis, Ben Lomond, Willard, and Grizzly.
If gravel is your thing, we have endless miles of dirt roads stretching from Liberty to Avon then over to Mantua and up to Willard Basin.
Road bikers are sure to enjoy riding around Pineview Reservior, spinning over Trappers Loop, climbing Old Snow Basin road, or heading up East Canyon to Big Mountain. For a bike friendly tour through the city, make sure to give the Ogden River Parkway a whirl. This is a fun, paved trail that winds its way along the Ogden and Weber rivers.
